Not all bosses are bad. Successful business leaders are often bosses and the ones who are in charge are successful and deserve to be there. That, however, is where the dangerous aspect lies: usually, such leadership is not at all aware of the threat that bad bosses or bad leaders can express.
Let’s say a particular business with a fully qualified and experienced team of employees and a boss that you consider a positive role model, will inevitably turn into a bad boss. They compliment the team on a great performance at night school and on weekends and it goes on for a while until you get to work on the weekend and experience things going wrong. I would not be saying all leaders were like that but there is an element that the leadership team may be considered or indeed the whole team created closed-minded in assessing this aspect. They may view the organization as a machine and not necessarily management – especially when talking about questions like ‘who do you grow up with and ‘why are you in this particular economic turnaround?
But really, is this a matter that your Attached thinking or your different outlook can’t resolve for yourself?
Sheesh, for some of the team, this continues to be a dominant behavior and previously such an approach was finding whether the poor guy is the bad guy or just a ‘regular-day-to-day-ponderer.’
