Dear Friends, I am skating in Skate for Hope again this year. I raised $1,500.00 last year so I have set my goal at $1,800.00 for this year. I am asking you to please donate any amount you can. The credit allows me to skate in an additional honor program for those who raise more money. Last year, I was the only one from WV to skate in Skate For Hope. This year I am proud to represent our area with 6 great friends and skaters! I know what I am doing is important... Last year, Emily Hughes (2006 U.S. Olympian) asked me why I was skating in the show. I told her my Nana was a Breast Cancer survivor. She introduced me to her mom and said, "This is my mom, she's a Breast Cancer survivor too...aren't we lucky to still have the ladies we love" I will appreciate any amount you can give... Also, please feel free to pass this webpage along to anyone you know that might be interested. While skating is fun, we are committed to remembering the primary purpose of this show... to raise money to fund Breast Cancer research and to promote awareness.
